LOOKING FOR AN OWN POETICS

WORKSHOP PROPORSAL
Take courage to abandon our actions, reactions, feelings and everyday thoughts, suspend judgment, allow ourselves to be an unknown territory, give ourselves space for a more subtle perception permeated by volatile images, sensations and small pleasures. We will let our own mythology emerge, a mirror with enough distance in which we are able to look at ourselves and embrace the beauty of our totality.
Aimed at actors, actresses, clowns, dancers, writers, designers, circus artists and the general public.
WORK STAGES
Before starting the collective work (with the other participants in the workshop), each student will have a short interview with the teacher in order to clarify their purposes, expectations and needs.
The collective work will begin through various dynamics adapted from the training of physical theater and theatrical clown, awakening and exercising the ability to "see" of the participants as well as stimulating them to validate the experiences that they go through during the exercices proposed from a place of no -judgment.
Then the dynamics of writing, drawing, visualization, artistic makeup and scenic creation will be addressed in order to awaken the creative state in the participants and guide them in the search for their own poetics.
Finally, each participant will work on a scenic creation (text, costume design, set design, song, short scene) that will be presented to the rest of the participants.
WORKING TIME
The base proposal is to work collectively for 6 days, 3 hours of work each day. Plus one or two individual assignments that will be exclusively with the teacher.
Note: The proposal has a reduced version of 2 working days 3 working hours each day.
NUMBER OF PARTICIPANTS
Minimum 8 and Maximum 20.
USED PLATAFORM
The Zoom platform will be used for collective work and Whats App for individual assignments that will be requested by the teacher, as well as the interview prior to the course.
