ASIAn tour
JANUARY 2020- 2022

"Death as a counselor, she thought, is not the rush, or the escape, or the fear that this get over.

Perhaps it is the generous and carefree surrender, knowing that we are a living expression of the earth, one in millions and that we will merge once more for this to continue.

We are so fortunate to live and witness small and sincere steps. Giant progress, humble evolutions. Searches blindfolded to look with the heart.

They gift us their songs, their sweat, their battles. We are surprised when magic or death or life fill the room with overwhelming intensity and we kneel before the mystery and give thanks to be alive. "

THE TOUR

Currently the company is in India for second time (January 2020-February 2022 and April 2022-present) as part of our tour of the Asian continent. In addition, Amares has toured Nepal in March and April 2022. At the moment we have participated in International Theater Festivals, conducted workshops, collaborated with local companies, performed in non-conventional venues, shared workshops for Tibetan monks and nuns, made the filming of a short documentary about the Buchen (a theater tradition with great similarities to the sacred clowns of American cultures).
